Brownie Trifle
This is one of those recipes that has been passed down and made over and over again.
I first received it from my aunt over 25 years ago, and it has been a staple at gatherings ever since. It’s simple, beautiful, and always one of the first things gone from the table.

⅓ cup powdered sugar
½ cup Kahlua (optional)
1 bag English toffee bits
Step 1: Bake brownies according to package instructions and allow them to cool completely.
Step 2: Prepare the chocolate pudding and let it set.
Step 3: Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then add powdered sugar and mix gently.
Step 4: Crumble brownies and layer them in the bottom of a trifle dish.
Step 5: Drizzle a small amount of Kahlua over the brownies.
Step 6: Sprinkle toffee bits over the brownies.
Step 7: Add a layer of chocolate pudding.
